VIP has the ability to run claims and accept payments directly in our office from Trupanion Pet insurance. Clients will be responsible for the amount not covered by their policy.
For all other insurance company policies, you will pay us directly at the time of service and submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Please note any client with open balances will not be allowed to refill prescriptions, make appointments, or receive copies of their pet's medical file until payment has been made in full. Open client balance statements are emailed the 15th of every month.
We accept cash, credit card, and Care Credit. Trupanion and Cherry payments are also accepted.
We do not accept checks.
VIP is proud to offer pet parents an exclusive app where you can make / change appointments, chat with our staff, view records, invoices, and vaccine certificates.

Appointments are required for all services.
Appointments are necessary if you wish to speak with a veterinarian. If you are simply picking up a medication refill or purchasing flea/tick prevention or heartworm pills, you do not need an appointment.
However, if you would like to expedite the process, you can give us a heads up that you are coming and we will have your order ready for when you arrive.
Please note that no medications will be refilled without a physical examination within the last year, and certain medications require regular blood testing.
There is a $50 walk-in fee automatically billed to any client wishing to see the doctor who comes in without an appointment, regardless of visit type.

We understand that sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled or cancelled. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
To be eligible for prescription refills, pets must have had an annual examination within the past 12 months, be current on all required vaccinations, and meet the medication's recommended testing requirements.
No, we have a set price for all vaccines. You can see the prices for individual vaccines on the Services page of this site.
Many towns offer free Rabies vaccine clinics at regular intervals for residents. Contact your local municipality for more information.
No we do not accept turn ins. We recommend contacting a local rescues or animal shelter.
Yes, we do spay and neuter pets by appointment only in both our office and in our sister clinic, Wayne Valley Animal Hospital.
No, we do not declaw cats.
