Routine fecal examinations are used to detect intestinal parasites in your dog. These parasites may include worms (such as hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms) and microscopic parasites (such as Giardia or Coccidia). 

Recommended for all pets.

Urinalysis is the examination of normal and abnormal constituents of urine. 

Recommended for senior cats, and also for cats exhibiting changes in urination.

A simple bloodtest to check for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).

Recommended for all cats after adoption; cats exposed to the outdoors/other cats, and cats exhibiting symptoms of FeLV or FIV.

 Comprehensive bloodwork is recommended for all cats at regular intervals based on age and medical history. 

 A quick blood test to check for heartworm disease.

Recommended annually for all cats.

Microchipping is the implantation of an integrated transponder about the size of a grain of rice. Each microchip has a unique identification number encoded into its integrated circuit that links the pet to the owner's contact information. Only needs to be done once - lasts a lifetime. Recommended for ALL pets. 

VIP carries NexGard Combo for Cats topical application to protect  against external and internal parasites including adult fleas, flea eggs, ticks, heartworms, hookworms, roundworms, lungworms, vesical worms and tapeworms.   We also carry Advantage for Cats.

Recommended for cats access to the outdoors, cats that live in homes with dogs, and cats that spend time sitting in screened windows.

 NuVet Plus Feline Vitamins come in a delicous powder to sprinkle on your cat's food.  This supplement provides full-spectrum nutritional support that focuses on boosting your pet’s immune system and overall health. 

Physical examination to determine whether your cat is a good candidate for spay/neuter at our clinic.  (Additionally all cats must be up to date on vaccinations before surgery can be scheduled.)
